Mr. Phoc said a crypto asset market would create a professional platform for investors and citizens and attract financial resources for national economic growth. He suggested Tether Group partner with a major Vietnamese enterprise to develop a crypto asset exchange.
Mr. Dal Lago said Tether regards Vietnam as a highly potential and important market in the crypto asset sector. With advanced technology, cost efficiency, and extensive experience, Tether is well-positioned to collaborate with Vietnam in managing and developing digital asset transactions.
Tether Group is one of the world’s leading stable coin issuers, with total reserve assets exceeding 177 billion USD, including around 120 billion USD in US Treasury bonds.
