(VOVWORLD) - Neang Chanh Ty, an ethnic Khmer artisan from Sray Skoth hamlet in An Giang province, is widely recognized for her mastery of brocade weaving and her significant contributions to preserving and developing the traditional craft. She also helps local products achieve OCOP recognition under the One Commune One Product Program.

(VOVWORLD) - At the age of 70, Trieu Thi Chung of Coc Thoc commune, Thai Nguyen province, continues to do embroidery, her skilled hands still bringing traditional patterns to life. To preserve the embroidery heritage of the Red Dao people, she is passing the craft on to younger generations.

(VOVWORLD) - Once facing many difficulties, the Dao village of Phieng Phang in Thai Nguyen province, is now seeing steady improvements in living standards and economic development. Those changes are partly attributable to the contributions of Party member Trieu Thi Man, a respected community figure.

(VOVWORLD) - Driven by a determination to escape poverty, farmer Huynh Thanh Lam of Nhon Ai commune, Can Tho city uprooted his low-value fruit trees and shifted to growing durian. This approach has significantly increased his family’s income and made Lam a good example of a new generation of farmers who think big and act bold in pursuit of safer, more sustainable agricultural production.

(VOVWORLD) - 75-year-old K’Brep of the K’Ho ethnic group in Bao Thuan commune, Lam Dong province, is a skilled artisan deeply committed to preserving and passing on the K’Ho people’s traditional weaving craft. He is also a pioneer of production who actively contributes to the local new rural development program.

(VOVWORLD) - Village chief Hmrik has long been a trusted spiritual anchor for the Jarai people of Ia Nueng village in Bien Ho commune, Gia Lai province. A village patriarch for more than 20 years, Hmrik has played a vital role in preserving traditional customs, mediating conflicts, and motivating locals to work diligently toward a better life.

(VOVWORLD) - In a peaceful village of Bien Ho commune, Gia Lai province, a group of young people is dedicated to preserving their culture, bringing traditional music to life with passion, and sharing it with the wider community. Leading the group is 19-year-old Ksor Djoan, a Jarai young man, with a deep-burning passion for music and his cultural heritage.

(VOVWORLD) - Dance choreographer Duong Van Hoc is well-known for pioneering solo puppetry in Vietnam, in which a single artist operates, converses with, and performs with the puppets. At the age of 84, he is still passionate about using puppets to tell cultural stories about Vietnam.

(VOVWORLD) - In his more than 50 years in the bamboo and rattan weaving trade, artisan Nguyen Van Tinh of Hanoi has not only helped to preserve and promote his 450-year-old craft village, but has inspired younger generations to protect and develop Vietnam’s handicraft industry. This year he was honored as one of 10 “Outstanding Citizens of the Capital.”
