Her passing, ending a long, humble life, revived memories of a revolutionary era when personal courage generated heroic acts of patriotism.

[VOVWORLD] - In a modest home in Ja Rah village, Lam Dong province, 51-year-old artisan H’Broi devotes her days to teaching M’nong folk songs and traditional gong performances to younger generations. Through her lifelong dedication, she has played an important role in preserving the rich cultural heritage and unique identity of the M’nong people.

Colonel La Van Cau, a Hero of the People's Armed Forces, was one such person. Colonel Cau passed away last week at the age of 94, bringing to a close a life of extraordinary service to the nation. He departed carrying the scars of war, and left behind an enduring legacy of courage, sacrifice, and love for his homeland.

[VOVWORLD] - The journey of Son Thanh Tuan, a Khmer sculptor from Can Tho city is an inspiring testament to his dedication to preserving the cultural heritage of his community. Tuan’s passion for Khmer sculpture took root during his years of studying in the Khmer Theravada Buddhist tradition, where he first discovered and developed a deep appreciation for this unique art form.

[VOVWORLD] - With a strong desire to prosper, engineer Vi Hoang Son of Hiep Luc commune, Thai Nguyen province, has built a sustainable livelihood through his knowledge and hard work. Son and other local people transformed once-abandoned hillsides into integrated farming models, helping to green the countryside.

[VOVWORLD] - Village chief Ly Xa Pu of the La Hu ethnic minority in Lai Chau province regularly visits local households to encourage people to abandon outdated customs, improve their livelihoods, protect the forests, and guard the national border. Pu, who has been a Party member for more than 35 years, is a highly respected elder whose dedication and good example have earned the trust and admiration of the La Hu people.
