Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development visits fishermen in Quang Ngai

(VOVworld) – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat on Saturday visited fishermen in Binh Chau commune, Binh Son district in Quang Ngai province.

He told them that the government will provide credit loans with only 1% interest a year to help fishermen build iron-clad ships for offshore fishing. The government will cover all the expenses on insurance for fishermen and will support up to 3,000 USD a journey for logistics ships. Minister Phat said: “We support fishermen to build iron-clad ships to increase their business efficiency. The policy and money for this program have been ready.”
