Themed “Digital Transformation and Green Growth – Elevating Vietnamese Tourism,” this year's fair involved 31 provinces and cities, along with 20 countries and territories and more than 600 businesses.
The B2B business networking program created tens of thousands of meetings between domestic and international businesses. There were 90,000 visitors during the four days, and 15,000 tourism products and tours introduced.
Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said, “The Vietnam International Tourism Mart has shown that Vietnamese tourism businesses are seriously implementing the two strategic directions for national development set by the Party and Government. They are digital transformation and green growth, which aim to create new values and major driving forces in Vietnamese tourism development.”
Besides promotional and networking activities, the fair honored businesses, organizations, and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the tourism industry over the past year, with 221 awards presented in 19 categories.
