Youth Union vessels sail off to Truong Sa or Spratly archipelago

(VOVworld) - 198 Youth Union members have sailed off from Ho Chi Minh City’s Cat Lai port to Truong Sa archipelago in a campaign to call for young people’s response for national sea and island.

Le Khanh Chi is a member of the team: “I have prepared gifts for soldiers on duty in Truong Sa. We will hold art performance on the island to encourage soldiers stay firm in their protection of national sovereignty.”

Lo Quang Tu, Deputy President of Vietnam Youth Association, said: “The voyage is in the right timing when the whole people turn their hearts and minds and show a firm determination to protect national sovereignty in Hoang Sa, Paracel, and Truong Sa, Spratly archipelagoes. This trip will uplift this spirit to a higher level.”
