(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Information and Communications has hosted a workshop to review communications on Vietnam’s territorial protection in sea and islands.


Speaking at the event on Friday, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Education and Communications Commission, Dinh The Huynh, praised the role by the media in this national territorial protection in sea and islands:“I welcomed colleagues’ efforts in their news reporting on the spot during our protest against China’s illegal placement of an oil rig in Vietnamese waters. You have shared the hardship with coast guard and fisheries surveillance forces in the struggle to protect national sovereignty over sea and islands.”
