(VOVworld) –An international workshop will be held in HCM city on Saturday on artificial constructions in the East Sea and their impact on regional peace, security, economics, and trade.
The organizing board, the Vietnam Lawyers Association and the HCM city Law University, says the workshop will involve over 20 foreign experts on international law and international maritime law from Russia, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
They will look at construction activities in the East Sea, their legality and impact on international relations. The outcome will serve as evidence for the protection of Vietnam’s sovereignty over sea and islands.
