[VOVWORLD] - The Nghinh Ong or Whale Worship Festival took place in Tran De commune, Can Tho city on Thursday. The festival honors the whale deity, believed by local fishermen to protect those at sea, while offering prayers for peace, calm waters, favorable weather, safe voyages, and good catches.
