(VOVWORLD) - The Suk Yung Festival of the Cham Bani community is held at the mosque from the end of the 10th month to the end of the 11th month of the Islamic calendar. It was from October 31 to December 12 this year. VOV joined the Cham Bani celebration in Lam Dong province.

(VOVWORLD) - When the terraced fields in the border commune of Luc Hon, Quang Ninh province, turn golden, the local Tay people hold their New Rice Celebration. The ritual honors their ancestors and nature for blessing them with a bountiful harvest.

(VOVWORLD) - Among the various folk singing genres of the E De ethnic group, Kut singing stands out for its poetic, metaphor-rich verses that express people’s inner feelings, much like heartfelt confessions. In villages and community-based tourist sites across Dak Lak province, the Kut melodies of the E De have always captivated visitors.

(VOVWORLD) - The longhouse is a symbol of the matrilineal family structure of the E De ethnic minority people in Dak Lak province. It’s a shared living space for the extended family and clan, and a space where the sounds of gongs, songs, epics, and other cultural values of the E De are preserved.

(VOVWORLD) - The Ha Nhi ethnic group in Lai Chau province celebrates their New Year Festival, Ho Su Cha, at the beginning of the 10th lunar month. More than just a festive reunion, Ho Su Cha serves as a spiritual anchor to strengthen community unity, preserve ethnic cultural identity, and open opportunities for locals to promote community-based tourism.

(VOVWORLD) - The New Rice Celebration holds great significance in the spiritual life and agricultural production of the La Chi ethnic community. Through generations, this tradition remains intact.

(VOVWORLD) - The Khmer ethnic people’s handicraft of making hats and masks for folk dancing and traditional theater performances, such as Ro bam and Du ke is a distinctive cultural feature deeply connected to their spiritual life. Each hat and mask embodies the Khmer’s soul, beliefs, and cultural identity.

(VOVWORLD) - Inspired by men men (steamed cornmeal), chefs on the Dong Van Karst plateau in Tuyen Quang province created pho ngo (corn noodle soup). The hand-rolled corn noodles which give it its distinctive color and flavor have made the dish a new culinary specialty of the highlands.

(VOVWORLD) - It often takes a month for a Dao ethnic woman to dye a piece of fabric and two to three years to make a full set of clothes. Though the process is time-consuming, Dao women in Van Ho commune, Son La province, continue to meticulously craft their intricate costumes in order to preserve their identity.

(VOVWORLD) - Big Drum Music of the Khmer ethnic people features an ensemble of 15 musical instruments, led by the large drum. In the Mekong Delta, only a few Khmer individuals still know how to play this lead instrument.
