(VOVworld) – Recommendations for Vietnam to develop its policies on promoting multilateral relations in the 21
st century will be discussed at a national conference to be held for the 1
st time in Hanoi next Tuesday. Delegates from the government, ministries and local authorities from across Vietnam, will debate measures to improve Vietnam’s multilateral relations as well as its contributions to international and regional issues of common concern, especially in the next decade when Vietnam assumes many international responsibilities.
On this occasion, Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry will cooperate with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to organize a roundtable discussion between former WTO General Director Pascal Lamy and Vietnamese businesses on “multilateral trade commitments – opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese businesses”.
