Agricultural, forestry, fishery exports up 8% in 2 months

(VOVWORLD) -The export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in February is estimated at 4.4 billion USD, up 37% over the same period last year, raising the first two months’ export turnover to 9.38 billion USD, up 8.3%, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

By region, Asia is the largest export market for Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery products with a market share of 42%. The next two largest markets are the Americas and Europe with market shares of 24.2% and 15.5%, respectively.

Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery exports to the US increased 19%, to China decreased by 4.3% and to Japan increased 19%.
