The service, set to begin on July 10, will operate four flights per week. The Ethiopian national carrier said in a statement that the new route aims to enhance trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Ethiopia, as well as between Vietnam and the entire African continent.

According to Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, the expansion to Hanoi will strengthen the airline’s presence in Southeast Asia while improving air connectivity and offering more travel options for passengers.
