Le Figaro, one of France’s oldest news outlets, in a recent publication, called Vietnam’s 80th National Day celebrations its largest-ever military parade. It also highlighted Vietnam’s achievements over the past 80 years.
French television TV5MONDE aired a live 15-minute program featuring the parade and related activities, capturing the celebration’s joyous atmosphere.
ARTE, a French-German public television channel, aired a 6-minute segment on Vietnam's national celebration.
UK newspaper The Independent called Vietnam’s transformation one of Asia’s most striking.
UK Investor Magazine looked back on Vietnam’s historical milestones and highlighted its economic potential in an article titled “Viva Vietnam: 80 years of independence”. It encouraged British companies to invest in Vietnam, citing Vietnam's strengths and potentials. 2025 for Vietnam is the year of global relevance, “then 2035 could be the year Vietnam emerges as a model of sustainable growth,” according to UK Investor.

In Spain, El País featured Vietnam’s celebration of the 80th anniversary of its August Revolution and National Day, where thousands of people nationwide gathered in Hanoi to celebrate the historic milestones in a joyous atmosphere.
