Mr. Thanh also requested that top priority be given to promoting economic growth. The focus will be on three main growth drivers, including investment, exports, and consumption.
Hanoi was tasked with fostering new breakthrough growth engines, including comprehensive digital transformation, green economy and circular economy, knowledge-based economic ecosystem, and cultural industry as a spearhead sector. The city must work to resolve bottlenecks and create the most open and favorable business environment for both citizens and enterprises.
“Any feasible work must be carried out quickly, as a trial for the new phase of 2026-2030. Actions must be decisive, ensuring that key projects in the city are maintained, so that in the next term growth can be maximized," the Hanoi mayor said.
