Organized by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the program marked the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day and highlighted Vietnam’s glorious history over the past 80 years.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, said the show promotes the image of a heroic, dynamic, and creative city and its aspiration to contribute to the nation’s overall success.
“It was designed with diverse staging and performance formats, ranging from traditional folk melodies to modern genres. It aimed to foster cultural connections among localities, particularly between a southern city and the north,” said Thuy.
