“We must form a world-class and regional exhibition center. It must demonstrate the national stature and growth after years of renewal. This space must be worthy of the nation’s heroic historical tradition and efforts to overcome difficulties after 40 years of renewal, contributing to the cultural and entertainment industry,” PM Chinh said.

He applauded the units for complying with the requirements and urged for early completion in time for the "Exhibition of the country's achievements on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The Prime Minister also agreed in principle on specific mechanisms and policies for the National Exhibition and Fair Center, adding that if necessary, foreign consultants with capacity and qualifications can be hired for organizing major events.

Located in Dong Anh district, the National Exhibition and Fair Center, which is designed to span 90 hectares and in the Top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world. The indoor area, the centerpiece of the complex, is divided into nine sub-areas covering over 10,000 m2 each, and the main hall’s area is over 7,000 m2.
