Mr. Chinh stressed that institution is a regular task and one of three strategic breakthroughs.

The Prime Minister said countries around the world are constantly facing issues that no single nation can solve on its own. In the course of international integration, the development of laws must also be integrated and harmonized with international standards, commitments, and practices.

“The laws under discussion today holds great significance in improving the legal framework and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state governance in key areas. They will promptly address difficulties and legal barriers hindering development, tighten discipline and order, improve mechanisms for preventing, detecting and handling corruption, and strengthen transparency and accountability in public service and the management of officials’ assets and incomes. It will also create mechanisms for Vietnam to actively integrate into the global community,” said PM Chinh.

At the session, government members discussed the amendments and supplements to the revised Anti-Corruption Law, the Law on Citizen Reception, the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciations, the Law on Urban and Rural Planning, the Construction Law, and the Investment Law.
