Prime Minister Chinh received Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is in Vietnam for an official visit and attendance at the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day.
At the reception, PM Chinh expressed confidence that the minister’s visit would contribute to the traditional friendship and Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Azerbaijan in general, and to defense cooperation in particular.
The Defense Minister said Azerbaijan's senior leaders wish to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam. There’s huge potential for cooperation between the two countries, he said and pledged to strengthen defense cooperation as the Prime Minister suggested, to make a substantial and effective contribution to the relationship between the two countries.
