Vietnam’s aviation security and safety is highly rated by ICAO

Chairing the National Conference on the 2025 agenda of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee on Tuesday, the Deputy Prime Minister urged relevant ministries, agencies, and enterprises to urgently review the security and integrity of current aviation information and data systems in transferring of responsibilities for aviation safety, security, and civil aviation data management to the Ministry of Public Security.

He asked for evaluating existing infrastructure, technology, equipment, human resources, and future investment needs across all sectors.

He also stressed the importance of refining emergency response protocols and conducting regular drills to enhance preparedness for aviation security incidents.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha asked the Ministry of Public Security to establish a national aviation security information database, ensuring seamless connectivity and data sharing at both the domestic and international levels to enable timely responses to emerging threats and prevent unexpected disruptions.
