Russian presidential vote begins

(VOVWORLD) - Russian citizens living in Moscow began casting ballots to vote for the next president at 8:00 am local time on Sunday.

Russia's Central Election Commission said about 110 million citizens, including nearly 1.9 million overseas Russian have the right to vote. There are about 97,000 polling stations.

Voting will conclude at 8 pm the same day in Kaliningrad, Russia's westernmost region. Russia is the largest country in the world and stretches across 11 time zones.
