980 delegates to attend Vietnam Youth Federation’s National Congress

(VOVWORLD) -The 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation, term 2024-2029, will take place from Monday to Wednesday at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, said the Federation’s Central Committee at a press briefing on Sunday.

The opening of the Congress themed "Vietnamese Youth Patriotism-Aspiration-Solidarity-Pioneering-Creativity-Confidently entering a new era", will be attended by 980 delegates, representing nearly 21 million members and Vietnamese youth.

There will be the full participation of 54 ethnic groups represented by 196 delegates, accounting for 20% of total delegates. 119 delegates representing all religions account for more than 12%.

The Congress will evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the term 2019-2024 and set goals for the 2024-2029 term.
