He underlined the smooth coordination between Hanoi and central ministries, agencies, and relevant units to ensure timely progress, adequate preparation, and absolute safety for all activities and events.
The enthusiastic participation of millions of Hanoians and other citizens who attended the activities and cheered the parade in an orderly and dignified fashion, contributed greatly to the celebration’s success, said Mr. Thanh.

The commemorative activities, including the grand ceremony and parade, asserted the strength of national solidarity, spread patriotism and national pride, and educated the younger generation about Vietnam’s glorious revolutionary tradition, nurturing their aspiration to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
“These results reflect the dedication and responsibility of the political system of Hanoi. The city sincerely commends the significant contributions of all collectives and individuals who devoted themselves to the occasion’s success,” said Mr. Thanh.
During the National Day holiday, Hanoi welcomed 2 million visitors, including 80,000 international tourists. Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were honored and rewarded.
