PM chairs 10th meeting of Central Council for Emulation and Rewards

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highlighted Vietnam’s significant achievements last year, saying they were the result of focused, coordinated efforts in boosting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and advancing foreign relations.

Chairing the 10th meeting of the Central Council for Emulation and Rewards on Monday, the Prime Minister underscored the crucial role emulation movements have played in achieving these accomplishments.

The Prime Minister urged participants to engage in substantive and objective discussions regarding the awarding of prestigious titles such as "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" and "Labor Hero" to outstanding individuals and collectives.

He also emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of this year’s emulation and commendation efforts, identifying shortcomings, root causes, and lessons learned to improve effectiveness in the coming years.
