During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister proposed organizing meetings of the Intergovernmental Committee and Political Consultation at the earliest opportunity. He also recommended implementing initiatives to foster connections between organizations, businesses, and localities in both countries.
Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized the potential for cooperation in international air and rail transport to establish efficient trade channels, particularly for agricultural products and services, between Vietnam and Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Shovgi Kamal Oglu Mehdizade expressed his hope for continued support and close collaboration with Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant ministries during his tenure. He affirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the areas outlined by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son.
